Our portfolio of projects includes work with companies such as Google, Microsoft, CISCO, ADNOC, Canon, Mubadala, Emirates NBD, Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation, and many other government entities and multinational companies that have a strategic interest in youth.
II. Seeking a Project Manager (Youth Programs)
Bon Education is seeking a Project Manager (Youth Programs) to join our team for a role starting in January 2025.
III. Location & Hours
This role is a full-time position in the UAE (Abu Dhabi and Dubai preferred). Given our client base and the projects you will be managing, you will need to keep standard working hours generally between 9am and 6:30pm.
IV. Responsibilities
Client Engagement:
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with Bon Education clients.
- Listen and ask thoughtful questions to understand client needs.
- Create slide presentations, calendars and written plans to showcase client solutions.
- Present ideas, options and solutions.
- Respond to client questions, ideas and feedback.
Project & Team Management:
- Co-define solutions with the Bon Education leadership team.
- Project manage solution implementation ensuring that all pieces of client solutions get created, implemented and delivered on time, within budget and to client satisfaction.
- Manage team members and contractors to ensure all work is completed on time and to the highest standards of quality.
- Recruitment: Ensure recruitment team enlists programs participants
- Comms: Ensure comms team create relevant and effective communications
- Administration: Ensure program admins are effective at responding to students, collecting data, etc.
- Events and workshops: Ensure all program events are planned in advance
- Ensure all projects are fully documented using Bon Education's internal knowledge management systems.
Project Implementation:
- Manage learning program implementation (in-person, hybrid and online programs) to ensure that all elements come together per plan.
- Manage all events (virtual and in-person) to ensure the highest quality of implementation and to troubleshoot when needed.
- Meet regularly with Bon Education team, clients and other key stakeholders throughout implementation period to share progress, successes and to recommend improvements.
Reporting:
- Work with Bon Education team, clients and other key program stakeholders to collect data and report on progress, impact and recommendations.
- Maintain project dashboards and author project impact reports.
General Support:
- Support Bon Education team on various internal projects and initiatives.
- We are a small team. We need team members that have diverse skills, deep curiosity and a willingness to help out and work across job functions as needed.
V. How you will spend your time
- 20% client engagement and solution building
- 60% project management and solution implementation
- 10% data analysis, documentation, reporting, presentations
- 10% wild card (observing our programs, analogous inspiration, other)

VII. Relevant Education, Experience and Mindset
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a project management role. 3+ years experience working in the UAE.
- Interests: Demonstrated interest in youth, education or human capital development.
- Education: Should have completed a Bachelor's degree.
- Language: Speaks and writes English at a native level. If you speak and write Arabic too, please let us know. Arabic isn't a requirement, but it is a nice-to-have.
- Skills:
- Experience in managing client relationships.
- Experience managing projects and project teams.
- Detail-oriented and type A when it comes to delivering team work.
- Learning and Service Mindset: Commitment to learning and delivering excellence.
