Key job responsibilities
This position requires actively engaging with potential clients, maximizing sales opportunities, and fostering strong customer relationships by performing tasks, including, but not limited to:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by engaging with contractors, consultants, and end-users involved in various projects.
- Conduct site visits and meetings with clients to understand project requirements and provide appropriate product recommendations and solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to clients.
- Collaborate with the engineering and technical teams to ensure that the products meet the specifications and requirements of the project.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions to close sales and ensure profitable outcomes.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay informed about market dynamics.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management team.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company's products and services.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project sales in construction/building materials industry with strong industry knowledge.
- Competitive, confident, and goal-oriented.
- Capable of taking initiatives to achieve sales targets.
- Strong team player with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Written and spoken English fluency required.
- Proficiency with MS Office required.
