The Project Technical Assistant (EV) plays a fundamental role in supporting the development of the EV unit by blending technical administration with excellent reporting capabilities. This position is critical in aiding the EV team, managing record-keeping, organizing databases, coordinating meetings, and handling technical documents. It requires a combination of strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively. The Project Technical Assistant (EV) will report to the Head of the EV Unit.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist in EV charging projects, including conducting surveys, creating layout plans, managing single line diagrams, and maintaining a database.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop detailed project documentation such as technical specifications, drawings, and manuals.
- Prepare and maintain project reports, presentations, and progress updates, ensuring high-quality communication and documentation.
- Support the project team in fulfilling technical requirements and adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Facilitate communication among project stakeholders by providing technical insights and clarifications.
- Participate in project meetings, offering technical expertise where necessary.
- Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Contribute to the improvement of project management processes and documentation standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or higher degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in technical writing and documentation, preferably within the EV charging network or related industries.
- Understanding of EV terminology.
- Proficiency in administrative software and project management tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
