The Property Management Manager will oversee the daily operations of our property management department, ensuring that properties are well-maintained, tenants needs are met, and owners investments are protected. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage a team, communicate effectively with clients, and handle various aspects of property management.
Property Maintenance and Operations:- Oversee the maintenance and repair of properties, ensuring all work is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address any issues.- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for property upkeep and improvements.
Tenant Relations:- Maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
Oversee tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring all procedures are followed.- Handle tenant disputes and complaints, finding effective solutions to maintain tenant satisfaction.
Financial Management:- Prepare and manage property budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
Oversee rent collection and manage delinquency issues.- Prepare financial reports for property owners, providing insights and recommendations for maximizing returns.
Lease Management:- Manage lease agreements, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
Oversee the renewal process, negotiating lease terms with tenants.- Ensure all leasing documentation is accurately maintained and up-to-date.
Team Leadership:- Lead and mentor the property management team, providing guidance and support.
Conduct performance reviews and provide training opportunities for team development.- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Compliance and Risk Management:- Ensure all properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Implement and enforce safety and security measures across all properties.- Manage insurance claims and risk mitigation strategies.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of property management principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Certification in Property Management (CPM) or Real Estate License is a plus.
