Key Responsibilities
- Proposal Development:
- Research and identify funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and private sector.
- Ensure all proposals meet the guidelines and requirements of the funding agencies.
- Coordinate with program managers and other staff to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
- Track proposal submissions and monitor the status of each proposal.
- Ensure timely submission of proposals and follow up with funding agencies as needed.
- Outreach and Relationship Building:
- Organize workshops, events, meetings, and presentations to promote the organization's mission and programs.
- Develop outreach materials such as brochures, newsletters, and social media content.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare progress reports about donors and funding agencies as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all proposals, submissions, and communications.
- Analyze and report on the success rates of submitted proposals and adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with databases.
