Job Summary:The PRT English Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language instruction to primary school students. The role includes developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment to support the academic and personal growth of each student.

Bachelor's degree in English.Instruction and Teaching:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate English lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
Teach basic reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
- Introduce students to literature, including poems, short stories, and age-appropriate novels.
Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.Classroom Management:
Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages active participation and respect among students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, following school policies and guidelines.
Monitor and support the emotional and social development of students.Assessment and Evaluation:
Assess and evaluate students progress through assignments, tests, quizzes, and oral presentations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress with parents during meetings or through regular updates.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.Curriculum Development:
Develop and update lesson plans, teaching materials, and resources as needed.
- Participate in curriculum planning meetings with colleagues and contribute to the development of the English program.
Integrate technology into lessons to enhance learning outcomes.Professional Development:
Stay current with educational best practices, especially in English language teaching.

Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and improve teaching strategies.Parent and Community Engagement:
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about students progress and any concerns.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and other community activities as required.
Administrative Duties:
- Prepare and submit reports, lesson plans, and other required documentation on time.
Assist in organizing and supervising extracurricular activities, such as reading clubs or language competitions.
- Participate in staff meetings, committees, and other collaborative efforts.
