You will work closely with a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric disorders.
About the Role:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose and understand mental health conditions
- Develop tailored treatment plans to address the specific needs of each patient
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to support patients in their mental health journey
- Prescribe and monitor medication as necessary for patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Stay informed about the latest advancements and research in the field of psychiatry
- Participate in case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment strategies and patient progress
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in all aspects of your work
Requirements
- Medical degree and valid license to practice psychiatry
- Completion of residency training in psychiatry
- Experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions
- Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches and evidence-based treatment modalities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
