Responsibilities:
Procurement:
- Research and identify prospective suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier offerings based on business criteria and product specifications.
- Negotiate purchase agreements.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain optimal inventory levels of all products.
- Implement effective stock management systems.
- Minimize shrinkage and loss.
Receiving:
- Ensure correct product quality and quantity upon receipt.
- Manage cost of goods for accurate pricing.
- Handle purchasing paperwork and communication.
Sourcing:
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with producers and partners.
- Prioritize purchasing from member-owned farms.
Logistics:
- Coordinate seamless logistics across programs and teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food industry regulations and standards.
