Job Description

The Purchase Cum Supply Chain Executive will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, primarily sheet metal, and overseeing the supply chain operations to ensure seamless production and delivery. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong negotiation skills, a thorough understanding of supply chain management principles, and experience in the manufacturing industry.

Job Function:
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for raw materials, focusing on sheet metal and other necessary components.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability and quality.
Manage purchase orders, track delivery schedules, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of finished products.
  • Analyze and improve supply chain processes to enhance overall performance and reduce lead times.
Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits to ensure optimal inventory management.
  • Implement and maintain a robust tracking system for all incoming and outgoing materials and products.
Address and resolve any issues related to supply chain disruptions, delays, or shortages.
  • Conduct cost analysis and budget forecasting to support financial planning.
Provide insights and recommendations for improving procurement and supply chain efficiency.
  • Qualifications:
Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within the manufacturing industry, preferably in sheet metal manufacturing.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Preferred Skills:
Expert in MS Office
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
