Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchaser to join our team specializing in kitchen equipment. The Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing kitchen equipment products This role requires a keen understanding of Kitchen equipment trends, quality standards, and supplier management.
Key Responsibilities:
Researching and identifying suppliers of Kitchen equipments products that meet our quality standards and pricing requirements.
Negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best possible deals.
Monitoring inventory levels and forecasting demand to ensure adequate stock availability.
Evaluating supplier performance and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Collaborating with the sales team and other departments to understand kitchen equipments requirements and preferences.
Keeping updated on industry trends, new products, and innovations in Kitchen equipment.
Managing the procurement process from order placement to delivery and ensuring timely fulfillment.
Resolving issues related to purchase orders, deliveries, and quality discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Purchaser or Buyer in the kitchen equipment industry or a related field.
Deep understanding of Kitchen equipment products, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
