Responsibilities:
- Develop the strategic sourcing plan.
- Establish a suitable and diverse pool of suppliers.
- Lead supplier selection, nomination, development process.
- Identify savings opportunities.
- Establish long term sourcing agreement with suppliers.
- Evaluate, negotiate and manage the most complex or strategically important suppliers and vendor relationships to secure terms that are in AIC best interest.
- Managing on-going relationships with major suppliers, vendors, or subcontractors to ensure that AIC receives satisfactory standards of service.
- Negotiating long-term contracts.
- Lead supplier qualifications & evaluation.
- Develop and implement a supplier development process.
- Develop and implement procurement KPIs.
Operational Procurement:
- Execution of Procurement plan, in coordination with key stakeholders within AIC organization.
- Purchase Order acknowledgement and follow-up of deliveries with suppliers.
- Ensure Purchase transactional data is always updated.
- Cooperate with Planning & WH Departments.
- Contribute to Supplier performance measures
- Maintaining purchasing parameters in our ERP systems.
- Manage Purchasing KPIs, identifying deviations, outlining and implementing action plans.
- Oversee the quotations analysis process to ensure appropriate selection of quotations received from different suppliers
- Follow-up with Finance department and fulfill their requirements to ensure proper execution of required payments on purchases ordered.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 8 years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain with at least 3 years of experience in a managerial position
- Previous Industry knowledge is required
- Previous Supplier Relationship Management experience is required
Education and Certifications:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering or equivalent is required.
