The Role

As a Purchasing Manager, you will serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by supporting the effective management of all the financial matters of the hotel. To be responsible for the purchasing of all items required by hotel departments and ensuring that the best prices are obtained without compromising quality.

As a member of the finance department, this role is responsible for ensuring that all the financial affairs of the hotel are conducted to the highest standards of honesty and integrity. High ethical standards are necessary to maintain both competitive advantage and the pride and confidence of our associates, and to provide quality products and services to customers and clients.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Red Sea Global Hospitality employees continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As a Purchasing Manager, you will need to:

• Processing all purchase requests submitted by Department/Outlets.
• Coordinating with Cost Controller to maintain optimal stock levels for efficient running of departments.
• Maintaining regular communication with departments on deliveries and outstanding orders.
• Sourcing supplies and negotiating commercial terms.
• Liaising with suppliers and representatives to research new products.
• Regularly compare the prices charged by hotel's supplier with those of other vendor in the markets to ensure that the hotel can always buy at the best possible price without jeopardizing quality.
• Perform any additional duties as required for smooth operations.
