As a Purchase Officer, you will play a crucial role in our procurement process. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services essential for our operations. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to build strong relationships with suppliers will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source new suppliers and maintain relationships with existing ones.
Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers.- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
Collaborate with other departments to identify procurement needs and develop purchasing strategies.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Keep accurate records of purchases and related documentation.- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements:- Minimum 3-year experience in steel/building materials.
UAE Valid Driving license is mandatory.
- Minimum 2-year UAE experience Is Mandatory
Bilingual people need. English Hindi (Mandatory), Arabic is advantage.- Bachelors degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Proven experience as a Purchase Officer or similar role
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software
Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
