Position: QA/QC Electrical Inspector
- Location: NEOM Project, Saudi Arabia

Quality Project Supervisor
The QA/QC Electrical Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations and materials used in the NEOM project adhere to the highest quality standards and comply with the project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The inspector will focus on vendor inspections, particularly for key commodities such as transformers, switchgear, control panels, conductors, cables, substation equipment, control system equipment, and PLCs. This role demands a thorough understanding of electrical engineering principles and extensive experience in quality assurance and control.
Vendor Inspections: Conduct and oversee vendor inspections for electrical commodities, including transformers, switchgear, control panels, conductors, cables, substation equipment, control systems, and PLCs. Ensure that all equipment meets the required specifications and quality standards.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes throughout the procurement and installation phases. Verify that all electrical materials and installations comply with the projects quality standards, specifications, and industry regulations.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all inspections, tests, and quality checks.Compliance Monitoring:
Ensure that all electrical works comply with local, national, and international standards, including safety regulations. Monitor adherence to the approved quality control plans and procedures.Testing and Verification: Perform or supervise testing of electrical systems and equipment to verify compliance with standards and specifications. Coordinate with third-party testing agencies when necessary.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and document any quality issues, non-conformities, or deviations from project requirements. Work with vendors, contractors, and project teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
Coordination with Project Teams:
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure that quality requirements are clearly communicated and understood by all stakeholders.Continuous Improvement:
Suggest and implement improvements to quality control processes. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, standards, and best practices in electrical engineering and quality assurance.Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to the project team on QA/QC matters related to electrical engineering.
Education:- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Bachelors degree (B.Tech/B.E) in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in vendor inspections is mandatory.
- Extensive experience in inspecting and ensuring the quality of electrical commodities such as transformers, switchgear, control panels, conductors, cables, substation equipment, control systems, and PLCs.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications in QA/QC, electrical inspections, or related areas are preferred (e.g., ISO 9001, IEC standards).Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, standards, and practices. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications, and quality plans.Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
