Job Description: QA/QC Specialist in Interior Fit-out and Joinery
  • Position Title: QA/QC Specialist
Department: Interior Fit-out and Joinery

  • Job Summary:

The QA/QC Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all interior fit-out and joinery works meet the highest quality standards. This role involves thorough inspection, testing, and documentation of all processes and materials used in projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications. The ideal candidate should have at least four years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance:
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures for interior fit-out and joinery projects.
Review project specifications, drawings, and plans to ensure all work meets established standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the quality of workmanship and materials.
Quality Control:
  • Perform detailed inspections of all stages of fit-out and joinery works, including material selection, fabrication, and installation.
Identify and document any defects or deviations from quality standards.
  • Ensure corrective actions are taken promptly to address any issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, tests, and quality audits.
Prepare and submit detailed QA/QC reports to management and clients.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Compliance:
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
Stay updated on changes in industry standards and regulations to ensure continuous compliance.
  • Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide guidance and training to site personnel on QA/QC procedures and best practices.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall project quality.
  • Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the interior fit-out and joinery industry.
Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.Certifications: QA/QC certification or equivalent is a plus.

  • Skills:
Strong understanding of interior fit-out and joinery processes and materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using QA/QC tools and software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
