• Experience

Highly experience with Welding Process and Welding Consumables ( SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW, SAW ) ·

• Ability to create and perform Welding Procedures [WPS], Procedure qualification [PQR] & Welder.

Qualification test [WQT] as per ASME SEC IX, AWS D1.1 and BS EN Standards.

• Highly experience with Carbon Steel, Low Temperature carbon steel, Stainless steel / Super Duplex Stainless steel/ duplex stainless steel / Titanium / 2-1/2 Chromium and unlisted Materials.

Strong knowledge in Hot Tapping and Cold Tapping in Oil & Gas sector live line and Tanks.

• GRE & GRVE Lamination and Adhesive bonding techniques.

Familiar with ASTM, ASME - SECTION II, V, VIII Div. I & II , IX, B31.3, B31.1, API 650, AWS D1.1, BS EN, Standards and specifications.

• Well familiar in Preparation of Inspection Test Plan, Quality Procedure, Method statement

Coordinated, witnessed & reviewed the Mechanical Test [Tensile, Bend & Impact]

• Coordinated, witnessed & reviewed NDE [UT, MT, and RT & PT] RT films interpretation & PWHT charts.

Ability to perform UT Lamination check on plate and UT weld scan.

• Experience in preparation of welding test coupon/NDT/PWHT.

Highly experience in fabrication and inspection of Pressure Vessels, Carbon steel Pipelines SS/DSS/SDSS & Process Piping.

• Well familiar in Preparation of hydro test pack, conducted and witnessed the Hydro/ Pneumatic test for Pressure Vessel, High pressure [up to 150 bar] mud system piping/Manifold/Valves and storage tanks.

• STRUCTURAL

Checking of material in accordance with purchase order and checking of storage in lay down area upon receipt of material.

• Inspection of pad plate elevation for structural columns before erection.

Ensure proper cleaning and paint touch up before erection.

• Checking of verticality and alignment of structural columns.

Bolt tightening inspection of steel members.

• Ensure the structure is installed as per the approved drawings.

Visual Inspection of welded joints of steel members according to code AWS D 1.1

• Coordinate the inspection activity with customer.

Submit inspection performed summary for customer review on weekly basis.

• Coordinate the NDT activity with NDT team

Witness and monitor suppliers/contractors work activities, inspection and test in accordance with the approved Quality Plan, ITP, Quality Procedures and etc.

• Issue and follow-up of Non-Conformity Report (NCR).

Ensure erection activities are done according to drawings and requirements.

• Monitor the QC aspects of the cladding and grouting works.

Responsible for as built drawing, Dossier and field instruction for Structural work.

• Prepare the material take off based on field requirement.

Coordinate with client if any modification required in drawings.

• Witness and monitor suppliers/contractors work activities, inspection and test in accordance with the approved Quality Plan, ITP, Quality Procedures and etc.

• MECHANICAL

Performs functional checks and mechanical Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.

• Carry out inspections of installation and fabrication of tanks as per API 650/API 653

Performing foundation check as per drawing

• Performs functional checks and mechanical compilation check as per documents.

Controls and inspections, obtain the relevant documentation and ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan according to Clients requirements

• Supervise effective implementation of all test and inspection schedule and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.

Checks of levelness, position, orientation, and anchor bolts position as per drawing etc.

• Setting out the works in accordance with the drawings and specification.

Monitor all installation and modification activities.

• Review of survey report and ensure the foundation levels are correct as per approved drawing.

Verify that all materials used during installation are in accordance with standards & specifications.

• Make sure all systems are designed, installed, tested, operated & maintained according to the operational requirements of the owner or final client.

Monitor and inspects nuts and stud bolts as per BOM (bill of materials) and correct size and type, and all the pipe and pipe support installed according to the approved drawing and specification.

• Visual inspection of flanges, gaskets, and bolts, prior to installation.

Line walks and Punch List preparation before Hydro Test.

• Review of Hydro test packages.

Witnessing of Hydro testing, Pneumatic testing as per client approved procedures
