Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QC Supervisor Piping - Oil & Gas Construction for Saudi Arabia. As a QC Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality control activities related to piping in oil and gas construction projects. This is a senior-level position requiring 7 to 10 years of experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree / Diploma in engineering or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in quality control for piping in oil and gas construction.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and codes related to piping, such as ASME, API, and ASTM.
- Experience with inspection techniques and tools, including NDT methods.
- Familiarity with welding procedures and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the quality control activities for piping in oil and gas construction projects.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Conduct inspections and audits to verify the quality of piping materials, welding, fabrication, and installation.
- Review and approve inspection and test plans, quality control documents, and non-conformance reports.
- Monitor and track the progress of quality control activities and provide status reports to the project team.
- Train and mentor junior QC inspectors and provide guidance on quality control practices and procedures.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the quality of purchased piping materials and equipment.
- Participate in meetings and discussions with clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in quality control practices for oil and gas construction projects.
