Job Title: Quality Management System (QMS) Engineer

Location: Ismailia

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Management System (QMS) Engineer with strong English communication skills and expertise in data analysis within the garment manufacturing industry. The QMS Engineer will be responsible for conducting audits, following up on processes, identifying and solving problems, and working closely with the production department to implement action plans. The goal is to enhance quality, reduce waste, and ensure continuous improvement across all stages of production.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit & Compliance:

Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with QMS standards and customer requirements.

Follow up on audit findings and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.

Assist in preparing for and participating in external audits (e.g., customer or certification audits).

Process Monitoring & Improvement:

Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.

Collaborate with the production department to identify areas for improvement and reduce defects.

Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address process issues.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Analyse quality data and KPIs to identify trends, root causes of problems, and opportunities for improvement.

Prepare and present reports on quality performance to management, with actionable insights.

Problem Solving & Action Plans:

Work with cross-functional teams to solve quality-related problems using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis).

Develop and implement action plans to address quality issues and follow up on their effectiveness.

Waste Reduction:

Identify sources of waste in the production process and work with the production team to eliminate them.

Promote and implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes and reduce waste.

Continuous Improvement:

Support continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices and driving a culture of quality across the organization.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality management and garment manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and statistical methods.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
