Role Summary
The incumbent will perform custodian services to investors including account maintenance, safekeeping of certificates and documents, preparation of reports and record keeping of transactions.
Role Description
Perform timely investor services,
Log queries/ problems of customers and internal departments and escalate where necessary for timely resolution.
Provide timely and accurate information to the external and internal auditors when required.
Ensure safe keep Investors Documents.
Co-ordinate activities with Treasury, Investment &Trade Operations for the receipt of source documents.
Ensure maintain the investor database on a timely basis.
Ensure timely update customer accounts, calculation of P&L, commissions, fees and other account related items under the direct supervision and review of the Head of Investor Services.
Support the supervisor of Investor Services in the preparation of customer account reports and other reports as required by the regulatory authority and management.
Comply with operational policies and procedures, document retention requirements and set security procedures
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Banking & Finance. seasoned with 5-7 years experience in investment banking.
Required Special Skills
- Sound knowledge and background in back office investment activities including reporting, recordkeeping and accounting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
- Possess strong knowledge of investment systems and software application skills (MS Office).
- Ability to work in teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Personal integrity and self-management.
- Strong analytical and organization skills.
