The Quality/Administration Officer is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality improvement initiatives and ensuring the efficient operation within the hospital. This role involves data collection, analysis, and reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and to enhance patient care outcomes.
Responsibilities Include:-
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement projects.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and edit documents, reports and presentations.
- Prepare for and participate in regulatory inspections and accreditation processes.
- Collect, analyze, and report on quality metrics.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of quality improvement activities.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on quality improvement processes and best practices.
- Educate staff on regulatory requirements and standards.
- Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and adverse events.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient safety.
- Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of quality and safety.
- Communicate quality improvement findings and recommendations to hospital leadership.
- Perform regular audits of clinical and operational processes.
- Review and analyze audit results to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the development and revision of hospital policies and procedures related to quality and patient safety.
- Ensure policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, nursing, public health, or a related field .
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality - CPHQ) is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in dealing with JCI ,healthcare quality improvement and Hospital Administration.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
