Our client, a marine technology system integrators company is looking for a Quality and Compliance Manager to be based in Dubai.

The are seeking for a Quality and Compliance Manager with expertise in ISO standards c) to lead our quality management, environmental management, occupational health and safety, and information security initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining management systems that align with our strategic goals and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ISO Management:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain management systems in compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 27001 standards.
    • Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of non-conformities.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of the quality management system.
    • Identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Environmental Management:
    • Oversee the development and implementation of environmental management practices.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainability initiatives.
  • Occupational Health and Safety:
    • Implement health and safety policies and procedures to promote a safe work environment.
    • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
  • Information Security:
    • Implement information security management practices in line with ISO 27001.
    • Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits.
  • Training and Development:
    • Develop training programs to enhance staff awareness of quality, environmental, health and safety, and information security standards.
    • Foster a culture of quality and compliance throughout the organization.
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the performance of the management systems.
    • Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Quality Management, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing ISO certification processes and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor, Six Sigma) are a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and lead initiatives.
