Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
Collaborate with the development team to understand application functionality and provide input on testability of features.
Develop and implement test automation frameworks and tools.
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and ensure product quality.
Report and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
Continuously improve test automation practices, tools, and processes.
Maintain and update test documentation and test cases.
Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and automation requirements are met.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient release cycles.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, C#).
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, Travis CI, GitLab CI).
Solid understanding of software development and QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
