Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to take ownership of the quality assurance process for cutting-edge healthcare software solutions. The ideal candidate will lead a team of QA engineers, ensuring seamless execution of manual and automated testing frameworks while driving the adoption of best practices for performance, scalability, and compliance testing.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA team in designing, maintaining, and executing comprehensive test strategies, including manual and automated testing for web applications (UI and REST APIs).
- Develop and enforce QA standards, ensuring the implementation of robust automated testing frameworks using tools like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Junit, and RestAssured.
- Oversee bug tracking and verification processes, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
- Analyse and report on regression test runs and non-functional testing outcomes using tools such as JMeter.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and meet software quality benchmarks, focusing on scalability, performance, and compliance standards like HL7 FHIR.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience in QA testing for distributed systems and SaaS applications.
- Expertise in Web Services or REST API testing using tools like SoapUI/Postman or custom code.
- Proven leadership in designing and executing automation scripts using Java (e.g., Selenium/TestNG/Junit, RestAssured).
- Hands-on experience with performance and scalability testing tools such as JMeter.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git, GitLab, Bitbucket).
- Strong knowledge of databases, including Oracle, MS-SQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience in HL7 FHIR conformance testing is a significant advantage.
