Quality Assurance section head

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management:

Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.

Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas of improvement.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.

Testing and Inspection:

Design and execute test plans to ensure products meet specifications.

Perform thorough inspections and analyses of materials, components, and finished products.

Maintain accurate records of testing results and corrective actions.

Process Improvement:

Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance product quality and reduce costs.

Implement Lean and Six Sigma principles to optimize processes.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor a team of quality assurance technicians or inspectors.

Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills.

Collaboration:

Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues promptly.

Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment on quality objectives.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare comprehensive reports on quality metrics, trends, and corrective actions.

Maintain documentation of quality control activities and outcomes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience in a quality assurance role, with at least [number] years in a leadership capacity.
