Quality Control Inspector

QC INSPECTOR FOR SHUTDOWN (1 MONTH; EXTENDABLE)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Compile Initial & Final inspection reports including Photographs of equipment.

Visual inspection at arrival and produce report.

Sizing/measurements/dimension check.

NDT inspection, acceptance parameters.

Determine repair work scopes and inspection report and work instructions for Supervisor review (where applicable for repairs).

Ensure that any modification is reviewed by the QHSE Advisor and is properly controlled and documented.

Prepare for audits & Calibration.

Arrange for X-Ray / PWHT / Third party interventions as per arising requirements from production department or job requirements and advise as required.

Produce COC and ensure to compile final complete documentation.

Assisting in effectively implementing and maintaining Quality Management System across the Business Units.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

ITI minimum required, Diploma/Engineering Degree desirable.

6-8 years previous experience in a similar role essential in an oil and gas mechanical/workshop environment

NDT (RT & UT) Certification

Product knowledge/exposure;

oManufacture: Oilfield equipment, Manifold, Mandrels, Crossovers & Fittings

oRot Eq : compressor, pumps, steam turbines, blowers, gearboxes, fans

oRepair : Oilfield equipment, Manifold, Centrifuges, Mud pump

Must have a valid Qatar ID.
