Requirements
- Provides technical leadership to the Quality team
- Responsible for test strategy formulation, helps with test plan development and participates in product design reviews
- Responsible for the overall quality of deliverables across all parameters, both functional and nonfunctional including performance, security, usability, etc
- Analyzes current processes and practices, suggests/drives improvements, and defines processes as needed
- Collaborates effectively and on an ongoing basis with all constituents involved in product development and release
- Responsible for the design and development of the Test Automation framework/harness and any in-house tools required
- Identifies, clearly communicates, and plans how to meet department/team goals and define and communicate team members roles
- Identifies training and development needs and coaches team members on achieving goals
- Recruits and selects high performers, develops talent, and recognizes performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in Software Quality
- Previous team leadership experience is required
