Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Quality Manager to join our team! In this role you will to lead quality activities across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with customer and company standards. This role involves overseeing quality systems, guiding professionals, and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
- What You'll Be Doing:
- Quality Systems Leadership: Leads the development and optimization of Quality Systems using ISO 9001 standards, including process improvement, procedure development, data reporting, and training.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Develops and maintains Quality Policies, Processes, and Procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Audit Management: Plans, executes, and documents internal and external audits, manages findings, resolves issues, and ensures follow-up actions.
- Compliance Verification: Audits projects and job sites to ensure adherence to Parsons standards, contracts, and applicable codes in areas like design, procurement, and construction.
- Client Engagement: Participates in pre-bid, bid, and contract planning activities with clients.
- Supplier Qualification: Conducts audits of suppliers and verifies compliance with quality requirements.
- Design and Engineering Review: Performs quality reviews of design documents, vendor manuals, and technical deliverables.
- Corrective Actions and Trend Analysis: Documents and resolves non-conformances, analyzing audit findings to identify quality trends and improve performance.
- Safety Promotion: Ensures safety awareness, participates in field audits, and aligns quality activities with safety standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interfaces with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, to address quality activities.
- Documentation Review: Reviews and approves quality-related documents such as manuals, test plans, and procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Promotes a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Proven management ability and in-depth knowledge of Quality Management practices, processes, and modern technologies.
- Extensive experience in implementing and managing quality systems based on ISO 9000, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, and similar standards.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present to management and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in business analysis, including ROI evaluation and cost metrics.
- Strong interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Excellent leadership, management, and analytical skills, with the ability to solve problems, assess risks, and deliver public presentations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) and project planning tools.
- Detail-oriented with a strong working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems Standards.
- Skilled in managing and directing team members on daily operations and special projects, ensuring timely and quality results
What Desired Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 12+ years of experience in Quality, including 5+ years in a management role.
- Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001 or equivalent) or ASQ certification (CMQ/OE, CQA, CQE)..
