JOB DESCRIPTION
Weatherford is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and effective implementation of the company's policies, procedures, and standards involved in assuring the quality of manufactured products and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with quality licenses, standards, and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of products, services, and processes to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and testing to identify potential quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Review and analyze quality data, reports, and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and customer service, to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and records.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on quality assurance practices and requirements.
Skills
- Proficiency in Power BI dashboards and data mining tools (Excel Pivot Tables, other Excel tools)
- Ability to comprehend and interpret MTRs, hardness, NDE, and other supplier quality reports
- Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Proven experience in implementing Root Cause Analysis methodologies
- Analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Control in the Oil & Gas industry
- Excellent written, reading, and oral communication skills in English
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong customer service skills, including active listening, follow-through, and a willingness to assist
- Ability to understand material test reports, hardness, non-destructive testing, and other supplier quality reports
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings
- Familiarity with Power BI dashboards (preferred)
- Root Cause Analysis implementation experience (preferred)
- Skilled in data mining using Excel Pivot Tables and other Excel tools (preferred)
- Lean / Six Sigma certification is an advantage
- JDE expertise (Entry to medium level) is required
