Job Summary:
As a Quality Support Officer at DCP Group, you play a pivotal role in providing essential support to our quality control departments. Your primary role is to ensure the quality of our entire product range, from raw materials and alternatives to the production process, finished items, and final product packaging. With your expertise and dedication, you help uphold our commitment to delivering products of the highest standards to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Formulations Control
- Cross-check product formulas across all operating factories to ensure alignment with the latest updates, in collaboration with the central Research and Development (R&D) team, leveraging/using the available raw materials and resources at each factory.
Mixing Procedures Control
- Initiating and updating mixing procedures to provide production managers with the needed instructions depending on available resources in each factory.
Quality Control
- the necessary tests and limits to ensure product performance remains parallel to the data outlined in our Technical Data Sheet (TDS), while also aligning with the testing methods utilized based on the capabilities and feasibility of the QC Lab.
- official records for data tracking and results log (Quality control record (QCR)).
- support with daily problem-solving related to deviations in product/raw material quality and corrections during production.
- up with customer complaints received, when related to product quality.
- Root cause analysis, problem solving and prevention procedures.
- with deadstock/slow moving items consumption planning.
- top-value items with R&D and factory teams, and participate in meetings with operating companies to develop a viable action plan for consumption.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Previous experience in Manufacturing.
- Excellent command of the English Language.
