We are currently looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor - Civil & MEP to join our team and provide expertise in quantity take-off, estimation, and tender documentation across Structural, Architectural, and MEP disciplines. What You'll Achieve
Tender and BOQ Analysis
- Analyze Tender Documents, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), Specifications, and Drawings, identifying any discrepancies and advising the Inquiry Engineer accordingly.
- Conduct take-offs for tender quantities per project drawings and specifications, comparing results with the Consultant's BOQ and advising of major differences.
Detailed Quantification and Estimation Support
- Quantify items in the BOQ without specific quantities (e.g., Lump Sum items), detailing relevant quantities to support the Estimator's work.
- Communicate any queries, clarifications, or discrepancies to the Inquiry Engineer and Estimator for timely resolution.
Ongoing Document Management
- Review and update quantities based on any revisions or addendums issued, ensuring that all records stay current and accurate.
- Assist the Estimator in preparing and verifying the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to support competitive and accurate bids.
What You'll Bring to ACC
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical or a related field.
- Proven experience in analyzing tender documents, specifications, and BOQ within the construction industry.
- 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with at least 2 years of site engineering experience.
- Fluency in English and French is required; Arabic is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment with both technical and project teams.
