JASARA PMC is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor at JASARA PMC, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost and commercial management on a range of civil engineering projects. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review cost estimates for construction projects
- Evaluate bids and proposals from contractors and subcontractors
- Manage project budgets and track expenses
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify any potential issues
- Prepare and analyze project reports, including cash flow forecasts
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality, health, and safety standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying techniques and principles
- Proficiency in relevant software, such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working on civil engineering projects is preferred
