BK Gulf LLC is looking to recruit experienced
Quantity Surveyor to work in MEP Projects, this is across Residential / Villas and Retail Sectors. Project are valued between AED 300m to 400m.
Duties
We require experienced
Quantity Surveyor, who worked on similar valued Projects, for a Tier 1 / Tier 2 MEP Contractors. Duties will include:
- Review of tender documents to assess extent of quantification required for reporting to the Estimating Manager on the staffing levels/external services required.
- Generate enquiries for external quantity surveyor services, define scope of services required, assess quotations and make recommendations.
- Supervise internal quantity surveying staff as and when required.
- Produce accurate Bills of Quantities and perform quantity cross checks as and when required.
- Make recommendations on potential alternative designs and alternative materials.
- Co-ordinate design and build documentation in accordance with Company requirements, liaise with designers to ensure timely receipt of information. Support designers with the selection of cost effective design selection.
Desired Candidate Profile
- UAE/MOFA Attested bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related fields.
- Minimum 6 years work experience as Quantity Surveyor in MEP Project preferably from a Tier 1 / Tier 2 MEP Contracting Company.
- Projects worked on, as Quantity Surveyor should be in excess of AED 400m, managing significantly large packages and scope of works.
