Role Description

This is a full-time role as a Quantity Surveyor at Middle East First contracting located in Dubai. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. This role will involve analyzing blueprints and other documentation, preparing estimates and budgets, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget. The role offers flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and spreadsheet programs
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Professional certification in Quantity Surveying is a plus
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations in Dubai
