We are looking for a QS Engineer to manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed within its projected budget, managing costs, and identifying areas for cost-saving.
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.- Assist in establishing a clients requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
Perform detailed measurement and valuation of works executed.
- Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
Value completed work and arrange payments.- Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use.
Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.
Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.- Proficient in cost control, planning, and reporting.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Proficient in MS Office and QS software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
