Quantity Surveyor

Cost Planning and Estimating:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.

Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for repair and maintenance projects.

• Develop cost control strategies and track project expenses.

• Tendering and Procurement:

Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.

• Evaluate and negotiate contracts and bids from contractors and suppliers.

Manage the procurement process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

• Contract Management:

Administer contracts and ensure that all parties fulfill their contractual obligations.

• Assess contractor performance and manage variations, claims, and disputes.

Prepare and analyze cost reports and financial statements.

• Valuation and Payments:

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and evaluate work completed.

• Prepare interim and final valuation reports for payment.

Certify contractor payments and manage cash flow.

• Risk Management:

Identify potential financial and contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

Provide advice on contractual and financial matters to clients and project managers.

• Cost Control and Reporting:

Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are kept within agreed limits.

• Prepare regular financial reports and forecasts.

• REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

2. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS A COST CONSULTANT IS HIGHLY PREFERRED!!!

• 3. MINIMUM 7 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN QUANTITY SURVEYING, SPECIFICALLY IN INFRATRUCTURE PROJECTS!!!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED8,000.00 per month
