R&D Interior Designer

A distinguished furnishing solutions company located in Lebanon is looking for a R&D Interior Designer.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate all products within the new collection, focusing on design aesthetics, functionality, and market performance.
Conduct in-depth market research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in product offerings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights from customers, sales teams, and stakeholders regarding product satisfaction and market demands.
Develop and propose design improvements and new concepts based on research findings and sales data.
Create prototypes, mock-ups, and 3D visualizations to test and demonstrate new product ideas.
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to explore and integrate new materials, finishes, and technologies into product designs.
Document research findings, design proposals, and project progress for presentation to senior management and stakeholders.
Education and Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field. Master s degree preferred.
Proven experience (3+ years) in interior design or product development, with a focus on research and development.
Strong knowledge of furniture design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive design decisions.
Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and present research findings and design proposals.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and achieving project goals.
