R&D Manager (Wood Coating)

Pyou Hong Kong, an International Recruitment and HR Consulting company, on behalf of a Paints & Coatings Manufacturing brand, is recruiting an R&D Resin Manager to be integrated into their team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing all factory operations.
• Prepares and manages the resin production plan according to the sales team's requirements.
• Manages resin quality control.
• Analyse and reduce production quality problems.
• Review process and equipment issues and teach shift leaders proper techniques to ensure that all work is performed to produce a high-quality product.
• Designs new products.
• Technical customer and visit support.
• Responsible for overseeing all factory operations.
• Reduces cost as per management advice.
• Prepares Technical data sheet & material safety data sheet.
• Act as the focal point between the employees and management to address all issues and problems.
• Takes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring safe systems of work and safe conditions are in place within the area of responsibility.
• Performs other similar or related duties as required or assigned by senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, science, engineering, or other relevant subjects.
• 5 - 7 years experience in Wood Coating.
• 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience.
• Leadership and management skills.
• Thinking and reasoning skills.
• A strong sense of creativity will also help in developing new product ideas and solving problems.
• Italian Speaker Only.
