Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient assessment, teaching, and care within the scope of practice.
- Procedure Assistance: Circulate and scrub during VIR and Neuro Endovascular procedures, including setting up sterile trays, positioning and prepping patients, and handling instruments.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor fluoroscopy, CT, laser, and ultrasonography equipment.
- Documentation: Accurately document procedures and patient care in electronic medical records.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Schedule Coordination: Coordinate schedules to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a Radiography, Radiology Technology, or Medical/Diagnostic Imaging program or
- Diploma in Radiology (minimum three (3) years course duration) or
- Associate degree in Radiography program (minimum two (2) years course duration) And Registration/certification or accreditation as a radiographer
- Certification: ARRT (RT) certification required; additional certification in Interventional Radiology preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in Interventional Radiology.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in operating radiologic
