Job Profile:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Radiologist. The consultant will be responsible for tasks related to medicine, and day-to-day basis. Reviewing and interpreting medical images to determine patient status and future medical care Proven experience in providing effective, efficient and professional clinical radiology services, including a full range of radiological procedures such as general radiology reporting, conduction of special studies, determining the protocol, and reporting of X-rays, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
- Assess the patients medical history, conditions, and specific needs to determine the most appropriate radiological procedures.
- Develop and update radiology protocols and procedures to improve efficiency and patient care while complying with regulatory standards.
- Ensure that adequate professional reports are available in a timely manner. For inpatients undergoing examinations during regular hours, this will involve issuing written reports.
- Consistently demonstrate effective interpersonal relationships with other x-ray staff and patients, handling problems sensitively.
- Function as part of a multidisciplinary team working with radiographers, nurses, clerical, and attendant staff in the interests of patient diagnosis and care.
- Educate patients and their families on radiological procedures, risks, and benefits, and address any concerns or questions.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology technology, participate in research projects, and contribute to the development of new imaging techniques and technologies.
- Maintain detailed records of procedures, patient information, and diagnostic findings, and communicate results to healthcare providers.
- Reviewing and interpreting medical images to determine patient status and future medical care
- Strong motor skills and manual dexterity to handle small tools and imaging equipment
- Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail to interpret imaging results
- Any other business as deemed necessary for the department and under the preview of Radiology.
Qualifications:
- MD degree in Radiology through a reputed facility endorsed by the
- QCHP. Board Certification would be an additional asset.
- Qatar Prometric and Dataflow updated.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team State of Qatar MOPH license preferable.
- State medical registration license.
Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Radiologist or similar role 8 Years experience with at least 3 in Qatar (preferable) Radiology and Nuclear Medicine skills Expertise in Medical Imaging and Mammography
