Role Overview
Responsibility for carrying on the preventive and corrective maintenance of the Rail Electrification (REL) Systems
What are my responsibilities
- Preventive and corrective maintenance tasks including of repairs of the REL Systems (750VDC & 11kV) including UPS and batteries (250VDC)
- Preventive and corrective maintenance tasks of Overhead catenary system (OCS) covered by the maintenance section.
- Install hardware and troubleshoot REL and SCADA system issues.
- Transforming of maintenance data into electronically useable formats.
- Complete all necessary coaching and assessments to be able to reach to an expert level of technician as per requirement of maintenance organization.
- Support of maintenance staff in the maintenance of REL, SCADA and OCS systems.
- Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
What do I need to qualify for this job
- knowledge of 11kV and 750VDC systems, OCS Systems and SCADA hardware, and software analytical thinking skills.
- Has a good knowledge in REL, OCS tools and equipment.
- Qatar light vehicle driving license.
- CMMS Software
- Is in good physical condition
- Is 21 years or above
- Meets requirements of fitness class 1.
- Has a Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of work experience.
- Has 3+ years of experience in the field of REL installation, commissioning or maintenance.
- Has a good command of both the spoken and written English language.
