Role purpose:
To undertake monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization & acceptance daily activities on a predefined area to ensure best customer experience, aside from handling global audits and studies across the whole region in cooperation with other team members to keep consistent network in terms of configuration and performance. This is in addition to capacity monitoring to allocate resources bottlenecks and accommodate expected increase in traffic according to the forecast.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Previous experience as area owner, handling daily activities like KPIs monitoring and worst cells troubleshooting
- Parameters trials proposal and assessment and new SW features evaluation
- Various audits including parameters, neighbours, license and HW configurations and mapping
- Utilization and capacity studies including interfaces and hardware capabilities, radio resources and signalling channels to manage network capacity
- Multi-carrier strategy and multi-RAT interoperability for both CS and PS services
- Customer complaint handling and special events preparations
- Propose/implement NW optimization actions(physical/soft actions) based on field radio measurements analysis as well as system counters
- Perform radio acceptance activities
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Education: BSc in Electrical Engineering majoring in Communication and Electronic Engineering
Work Experience: 3:5 Years Experience in Radio Optimization.
PC Knowledge: MS Office Package, Internet Package, Huawei and/or Ericsson Radio Tools are a must.
Special requirements: Excellent communication skills, Good presentation skills and Leader ship skills.
Multi-vendor experience is a big plus
Automation & programming skills are a plus
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
3 to 5 years or relevant experience in GSM, UMTS and LTE technologies
Ericsson/Huawei experience is mandatory; other vendor (Nokia) is a plus
