React Native Developer - Abu Dhabi
Surge Group are seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for crafting flawless user interfaces and ensuring seamless integration across mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop pixel-perfect, responsive UIs for mobile applications.
- Utilize native APIs to facilitate deep integrations with platform functionalities.
- Identify and resolve performance issues and bugs to deliver a native-level user experience.
- Engage with the global open-source community to contribute and implement critical software improvements.
- Maintain code integrity through rigorous testing and documentation practices.
- Migrate existing React web applications to React Native seamlessly.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Over 7 years of hands-on experience in JavaScript, with proficiency in TypeScript or ClojureScript.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript ES6+ syntax and either functional or object-oriented programming paradigms.
- Ability to write clean, well-documented JavaScript code and proficient in managing third-party dependencies.
- Preferably, prior experience in web front-end development and familiarity with native build tools (e.g., XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, IntelliJ).
- Knowledge of REST APIs, asynchronous request handling, and offline storage solutions.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
