Position Overview
We're seeking a talented React Native Mobile Developer to join our team. You will play a key role in creating an intuitive, engaging, and reliable mobile experience for our users, bringing the Kilow vision to life on mobile platforms. This role requires close collaboration with our product, design, and backend teams to develop a seamless mobile application that helps users achieve their health goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Mobile Application: Design and build high-performance, responsive mobile app features using React Native, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.
- Collaborate with Backend and Design Teams: Work closely with backend developers and UI/UX designers to integrate APIs, implement UI elements, and build user-centric features.
- Optimize for Performance: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs, ensuring the app performs smoothly across various devices and screen sizes.
- Ensure Code Quality and Maintainability: Write clean, modular, and reusable code with proper documentation, following best practices in React Native development.
- Implement and Maintain Security Protocols: Ensure data security and compliance with healthcare standards, especially in handling sensitive user data.
- Stay Updated on Mobile Development Trends: Keep abreast of React Native updates and mobile development trends, implementing best practices and new techniques where applicable.
Qualifications
- 2+ Years of Experience in Mobile Development: Strong focus on React Native.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and React Native: Skilled in React Native frameworks for building cross-platform mobile applications.
- Experience with Mobile UI/UX Design: Understanding of best practices for mobile design, including responsive layouts, navigation, and animations.
- API Integration Skills: Ability to work with RESTful and GraphQL APIs to integrate backend data into the app seamlessly.
- Familiarity with Native Modules: Experience in working with native modules for Android and iOS is a plus.
- Knowledge of Mobile Testing: Proficiency in writing unit tests, integration tests, and using testing frameworks like Jest and Detox is a plus.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD Pipelines: Proficient in version control (Git) with experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps; familiarity with Bitrise for CI/CD is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Digital Health or Wellness Apps: Previous work in health-related applications is an advantage.
- Knowledge of App Store Deployment: Experience with deploying apps to the App Store and Google Play, including managing updates and versioning.
- Understanding of Mobile Analytics and Tracking: Experience with tools like Firebase, Mixpanel, or similar for tracking user behavior.
