We are seeking a seasoned Real Estate M&A expert to lead and manage the end-to-end deal process for a prominent client in Abu Dhabi. This role involves strategic oversight and hands-on involvement across each phase of the transaction, from governance framework setup to deal negotiation and closing. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in real estate mergers and acquisitions, deal structuring, and financial analysis, along with a strong network within the UAE market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Governanceframework development: Establish a robust governance structure fordeal management to ensure effective oversight, decision-making, andcompliance throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Assetprioritization: Evaluate and prioritize assets based on strategic fit,financial feasibility, and market potential. Conduct initial screenings toshortlist high-value opportunities.
- Feasibilitystudies: Lead comprehensive feasibility analyses on target assets,including financial modelling, risk assessment, market analysis and returnprojections to support informed investment decisions.
- Dealstructuring: Develop customized deal structures that maximize valuefor all stakeholders, balancing short- and long-term financial outcomeswith client objectives.
- Investmentpitch preparation: Craft compelling investment pitches for internaland external stakeholders, including the client's executive team,potential partners, and financing entities.
- Dealnegotiation & execution: Drive negotiations with target assetowners, stakeholders, and financiers, ensuring that all aspects of thedeal meet financial, strategic and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholdermanagement: Act as the primary point of contact for all deal-relatedmatters, ensuring transparent communication and alignment with clientobjectives at every stage.
- Market& regulatory analysis: Stay informed on UAE's real estate markettrends, regulatory requirements and competitive landscape to adaptstrategies and ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- Experience: 10+ years of proven experience in real estate M&A, investmentmanagement, or asset management, ideally with a focus on high-value dealsin the UAE or GCC market.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. A master'sdegree or CFA/CPA certification is preferred.
- FinancialAcumen: Expert in financial modelling, valuation techniques, andfeasibility analysis, with an ability to interpret complex financial datato drive decision-making.
- Negotiation& deal Structuring: Strong track record of structuring andnegotiating successful real estate deals, with a thorough understanding oflegal and regulatory factors in the UAE.
- Analyticalskills: Proficient in conducting thorough market research, riskassessment and competitive analysis to identify high-potential investmentopportunities.
- Communicationskills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with anability to create impactful investment pitches and reports.
- Stakeholdermanagement: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to workeffectively with senior management, investors, and diverse stakeholdersacross the UAE.
- CulturalFit: Knowledge of and experience with the business landscape andcultural dynamics of the UAE and wider GCC region.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Priorexperience working in a real estate investment fund, PE firm, orinvestment banking environment focused on real estate M&A.
- Professionalproficiency in Arabic (advantageous but not required).
Contract role for 3-6 Months.
