Receiving Inspector

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Inspection and Verification:

- Inspect incoming materials and products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using appropriate measuring tools and equipment.

- Keep measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Document inspection results, including any non-conformances or discrepancies.

- Generate and maintain accurate inspection records and reports.

- Communicate inspection results to relevant departments and QC team lead and follow up on corrective actions if necessary.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with the procurement team to resolve any issues related to received goods.

- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure proper storage and handling of inspected items.

Quality Control:

- Adhere to company quality standards and procedures.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the receiving inspection process.

- Assist in the development and implementation of inspection procedures and standards.

Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

- Report any safety hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel.

- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.

Skills, Competencies and Knowledge

- Great attention to details.

- Excellent technical abilities.

- Good communication skills.

- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.

- Fluent in English (Writing, reading speaking).

Educational Background and Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Additional technical education or certification in quality control or a related field is a plus.

- Previous experience in a quality control or receiving inspection role is preferred.

Work Environment

- This position typically works in a warehouse or receiving area with exposure to various materials and equipment.

- This Position will require lifting and moving heavy materials sometimes.
