GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Head of Integrated Supply Chain Management Lead, the Regional AMO Manager will plan and manage the network of workshops in an efficient, productive, safe and cost effective manner. The role will enhance in-house shop capabilities to meet business requirements, reduce maintenance costs and turnaround time and ensure compliance to all legal requirements and enforcement of highest qualitative and quantitative operational and service standard's.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Accountable for the safe and efficient running of the workshops.
- Accountable for the On time maintenance, servicing of all equipment as per agreed performance standards.
- Drive continuous improvements plans across the business, to optimize existing strategies and drive new ones following business developments
- Accountable for setting Key Performance Indicators for the department
- Accountable that all transactions are properly recorded in our system of records platform
- Accountable for the quality of work carried out
- Accountable to drive Health Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and local legislation, and ensure completion and validity of all minimum QHSE training and objectives required by the company
- Accountable to build and deploy Workshop Management global strategies and standards to improve performances on all areas of the business, Cost, Productivity, Quality, Assets Turn Around and People management
- Active involvement and leading the management of 5S and audits by carrying out regular inspections and support as applicable.
- Driving preset operational directives and carrying out monthly cost analysis in line with the depots target and set KPI's
- Recruitment, induction, performance appraisal, development and training of direct reports & technical support to the client and internal teams where applicable
- Focus on asset life cycle analysis, MTTR and reliability ensuring maximum workshop productivity and minimum asset downtime
- Traveling periodically to ensure all areas are at the same standards across the organization
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience with maintenance & overhaul of industrial/construction plant and equipment. Preferably diesel & electrical driven water pumps, generators, heavy hydraulic equipment, compressors and electrical control gear.
- Strong knowledge of Asset Management and Economic Analysis
- Demonstrated experience in driving operational continuous improvements.
- Well-developed business acumen along with strategic planning skills.
- Strong analytical, problem identification and problem solving skills, interpretive, evaluative and/or constructive thinking.
- Capable to work towards deadline, under pressure and multitasking
- Strong focus on quality - ability and commitment to achieve total customer satisfaction.
- Strong focus on safety - including personal safety, safety of co-workers, and protection of property.
- Environmental awareness and knowledge of impact of operational systems and processes on environment.

- Proficient in Microsoft applications mainly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience in fabrication, welding and manufacturing
- Valid local driving License
