The Regional Director of People and Culture is a strategic leadership role focused on driving the people and culture strategy across the region for a fast-growing IT company. This position partners closely with executive leadership to align HR initiatives with the business goals, fostering a high-performance culture that attracts, develops, and retains top IT talent. The role requires a deep understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and trends within the technology industry, combined with the ability to lead a regional team of HR professionals in implementing impactful people strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and execute regional HR strategies aligned with the company's mission and growth objectives.
- Partner with executive leadership to shape workforce planning, talent acquisition, development, and retention initiatives.
- Drive organizational change management efforts, ensuring alignment with the company's values and goals.
- Talent Management and Development
- Oversee talent acquisition, ensuring a strong pipeline of technical and non-technical talent for regional needs.
- Champion employee development programs, including learning and development, coaching, and mentorship initiatives.
- Implement and manage a robust performance management framework to drive continuous improvement and growth.
- Employee Experience and Engagement
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture that aligns with the company's values.
- Implement employee engagement programs, assess engagement levels, and develop strategies to enhance the employee experience.
- Lead initiatives on employee well-being, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Compensation and Benefits
- Collaborate with global HR teams to design and execute competitive compensation and benefits strategies that are market-aligned.
- Ensure equitable pay practices and address any compensation-related concerns or compliance issues within the region.
- HR Operations and Compliance
- Oversee HR operations, ensuring seamless processes across onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with regional labor laws, employment standards, and HR policies.
- Monitor and manage HR budgets, resources, and regional HR KPIs to meet operational goals.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making
- Utilize HR analytics to assess trends, forecast workforce needs, and drive strategic decisions.
- Prepare regular reports and insights for executive leadership on HR metrics, turnover, and employee satisfaction.
- Leadership and Team Development
- Lead, coach, and mentor the regional HR team to ensure high levels of effectiveness and collaboration.
- Create a culture of accountability and support within the HR team, encouraging professional growth and skills development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the technology industry.
- Proven experience in people and culture strategies, talent management, and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance regulations, and HR best practices within the region.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Data-driven, with a solid understanding of HR analytics and workforce planning.
