Senior Regulatory Accountant

Due to changing legislation with our regulator the FRA our requirements have evolved significantly over the last 2 years. We now have monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements which require the services of a Senior Regulatory Accountant.
What You'll Do
- Submit monthly forms and templates to the regulator covering all aspects of the company operation (claims, complains, vacancies, legal...etc).
- Preparation of the statutory financial package for regulator on quarterly basis.
- Support ad -hoc queries and supporting analysis from the FRA during the year.
- Prepare and calculate the monthly data required from the FRA about Premiums and claims.
- Prepare and send Commission analysis by broker to the regulator on annual basis.
- Prepare and calculate quarterly regulator fees ( FRA Development and review fees).
- Prepare annual FRA Fees (supervision Fees) and Risk policy holder fees.
- IFRS 17 Experimental Fs along with the quarterly pack to the FRA.
- Responsible for Month - End closing process with Local and UK posting and issue a monthly trial balance.
- Prepare and calculate of BES Revenue per month based on cost Mark-up Method.
- Prepare and calculate of Third-party agreement fees.
- Prepare and calculate monthly taxes payments (VAT and withholding ) on TPA.
- Prepare and calculate annual taxes amount ( Annual IPT)
- Calculate and post Quarterly local adjustment and issue Trial balance and financial statements.
- Calculate and issue the BES invoice to BISIL along with uploading the invoice on E-invoice portal on a quarterly basis.
- Monthly reconciliation to UK on ( Banks, Investment, Prepayments, Taxes, and advances)
- Prepare Reinsurance Commissions Reconciliation.
- Support ad-hoc tasks and projects required by the finance director and financial reporting manager.
- Assisting Tax specialist in supporting analysis required in the tax inspections.
- Participate in Year-End closing along with Local adjustment and analysis.
- Responsible for BEI /BEs audit.
- Prepare the Statutory annual reconciliations and supporting analysis for the Audit purpose.
- Prepare final trial balance along with Drafted financial statement.
What You'll Bring
- Proven finance background within financial services with monthly reporting and reconciliations
- IFRS experience
- Working towards or have obtained relevant finance accreditation
- Must be able to fluently speak both Arabic and English
