JOB DESCRIPTION

RELATIONSHIP MANAGER - GCC - DUBAI BASED

MAJOR GLOBAL WEALTH MANAGER

Main activities

  • To achieve his/her commercial targets by:

Developing customer loyalty in liaison with his/her direct manager: clients, prospects and business referral agents.

Promoting the products and services of the bank towards clients, prospects and business referral agents with a strong drive to increase NNC and revenue growth.

  • Put together an actionable list of prospects and follow up on its commercial delivery to onboard new to Bank clients in accordance with the Business Plan.

  • Managing a wide relationship network internally (cross-selling) and externally.

  • To ensure the completeness of his/her client files by:

Updating the legal documentation of the clients.

Completing call reports to support regular contact with clients and updating all client files regularly for KYC and investment suitability purposes.

Implementing credit lines. Controlling the profitability of the client portfolio.

Providing justifications for remarkable and risky operations.

Validating operations inputted in Olympic

  • To control the risks by:

Respecting and applying the rules and procedures of the bank in conformity with CORA requirements.

Identifying the risks of his/her activities (compliance / operational / credit / reputation).

Performing controls under his/her responsibility.

Performing controls and ensuring strict adherence to the bank's policy in regards to AML, anti-bribery, corruption, tax conformity and MSC.

Understanding and strictly adhering to the cross-border rules as described in the BCBOH sales process when meeting clients and prospects

  • To ensure the transfer of expertise by:

Ensuring that the Assistant Wealth Manager is knowledgeable about business procedures and Compliance/KYC requirements.

Identifying training needs for the Assistant Wealth Manger.

Exchanging information between the team members.

Assisting its direct manager in preparing annual performance evaluation with recommendations for salaries and bonuses for the Assistant Wealth Manager.

Main knowledge's needed

  • Very good knowledge of all aspects of financial instruments, of international & local Wealth Management products and other group business lines offering.
  • Good knowledge of the economical, legal & tax environment.
  • Knowledge of current money laundering regulations and KYC requirements.
  • Knowledge of the process flow of bank transactions and the correct use of the Bank's systems.
  • Knowledge of advice, sale and negotiation skills.

Main professional skills

  • Ability to foster team spirit among other Wealth Managers and Assistant Wealth Managers.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills oral, written, presentational.
  • Ability to focus on efficiency and quality of services provided by Wealth Management.
  • Ability to recommend training programs and updates/refreshers for Assistant Wealth Managers.
  • Consistent adherence to organizational and functional goals and ability to ensure adherence by Department.

  • Minimum education level required; Bachelor degree
  • Master's degree (nice to have)
