Whom are we looking for

Our client is seeking a renewal manager to oversee the insurance renewal processes, including preparing notices, coordinating with departments, negotiating terms, arranging quotes, and ensuring timely placements.

Role & Responsibility:

  • Sending renewal intimation list to respective channels as per the protocols.
  • Coordinating with accounts & claims department for past claims details pertaining to renewals.
  • Preparing & reviewing of renewal notices and releasing to respective channels highlighting important information such as subjectivities/warranties/conditions etc.
  • Preparation of policy summaries for portfolio renewals.
  • Scrutinization of the renewal information receive from clients & coordinating with marketing coordinators for any discrepancies.
  • Negotiating with insurer for coverage upgrades, discounts, cover extensions etc.
  • Arranging alternate quotes for existing renewals & arrange coverage comparisons/recommendations based on the requirement.
  • On time renewal placements to insurers, arrange cover confirmations, insurance certificates, bank endorsement & policy documents as per the department protocols.
  • Checking the correctness of the renewal documents based on the instructions & coordinate with insurers for any discrepancies.
  • Coordinating with Document Processing Team for system entries for respective renewals.
  • Ensure that all the regulatory documents are followed up, collected & verified prior to placement of the renewal.
  • Evaluate risk control programs received from insurers & coordinate with client's/marketing team for timely completion.
  • Assisting team supervisor & other team members whenever required.
  • Working on Non-Motor endorsements requests received from clients/marketing team.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Commercial Insurance for PIL, PAR, WR.
  • Preferred from insurance broker experience.
  • Good interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership, planning and organizational skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
